both have children from previous marriages.

what is the best way to create a living trust in case one of the spouses die then the surviving spouse does not misuse the funds until his or her death, assuming the assets will be inherited to both party children after both spouses die.

An Estate Planning Attorney would probably recommend using an AB or ABC Trust. A thorough review of the estate would be required.
