Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Mothers Will

I live in CA. My mother moved to NJ with my sister because she couldnt take care of her self any more. SO, now sister wont give me a copy of the will, states that there is nothing left to me or brother. She, however, got my mother immediately diagnosed with dementia, became her''guardian'', and put the money from the home in CA,into her own personal bank account. Do I have the right to see my Mothers will?

Re: Mothers Will

First of all, it depends on if your mother is still alive. If she is, then there is no right to see anything. If she has passed away, then you need to contact an attorney (either her in CA or in NJ) to represent you in a Probate proceeding in NJ.

Additionally, if you believe there was undue influence, which it sounds as if you do, there is always a right for you to challenge your sister's actions in Court.
