Not necessarily. The last valid will signed by the deceased is the one that controls. Remember Howard Hughes?

Do you mean, do you get notified after the death of the testator if you are NOT a beneficiary of the last Will? Yes, if you are an "heir at law" such as a spouse or child of the deceased.
