Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

When I am preparing the final distribution do I go by what my mom said in her will? I am receiving all of her estate but she mentioned other family members and she said she wasn't leaving them anything. Do I have to show that they will receive 0% when I describe who gets what. I know I had to mention them when I first petition for probate. Do I also have to send them a notice of final hearing even though they are not receiving anything and do I also have to have them sign account waiver? Thank you all again for your help

The family members who received notice of the Petition for Probate should also be noticed for the Petition for Final Distribution, but when you describe the distribution requested in the Petition and Order, just say how the estate is being distributed, not who is getting nothing.
