Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I'm at probate court now. My brother 13 yrs older than me is seeking executorshipof my mother's estate. He has been stealing everything he can from my mom since 2001. I was her sole caretaker. I have bank statements from 2014 with my mom, the brother and my name on the accounts. It used to be my mom and me because she told me she didn't trust my brother. He has proceeded to steal the remainder of my mom's Sovial security check every month for yrs. Mom had a massive heart attack on 2/9/2014. I have bank statements showing where he closed all of her accounts the following month. He left a check with Mom for me of 500.00. He owns a printing company for 43 yrs and makes every form fraudulently that he needs. I quit my job and was staying with Mom to care for her. He took her from me on 10/10/2014. There is a no contest clause in the will. John has told me all of my life that I will get nothing when mom dies so I figure what have I got to lose. Here it goes. 30 minutes till court. Any advice? Thank you for responding the other day for me.

Be polite and respectful to everyone there.

Be as clear as you can when you tell the judge why you object to your brother's appointment as executor. Try to answer any questions as directly as you can. Take good notes of what the Court decides.

You probably need to obtain representation from here on out.

Best of luck to you.
