Re: trustee to the trust is not cooperating with me

Is she named as the sole trustee? If not, go to the other trustee. Demand in writing an accounting of the trust. Ask her in person, in a polite fashion, why she will not let you have a copy of the trust document. If she had any objections that are not difficult to comply with, do them after you confirm it in writing. If she still will not co-operate, point out that she can be removed and you really have no choice but to do so. See if their is a mutual relative or friend that can be relied upon to act between the two of you as a mediator of the problems.

request a copy of the trust agreement in writing. if the trustee does not respond, retain a qualified attorney to provide advice and file any necessary petition with the superior court to compel the trustee to act properly.
