Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I'm 67 years old, I have "Longshore and Harbor workers' Compensation" settlement for life paymanet and medical treatment too. Now the insurance company asking to settle the case for lumpsum, my family has a long life(90-95-100) . How much you think i should ask excloding the medical expenses. I have an atterney but i would like to have an idea how much the settelement should be.

None of us can answer that without much more information. Pump your attorney for detailed reasoning for what the recommend for settlement. Be sure that your medical will be taken care of and that a lump sum does not have to be set aside to cover future treatment costs by Medicare.
