Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Can I claim?

I was injured at work 5 months ago,I have been on TD since.I have been told by my PT that my ankel will never be the same and now my doc wants to operate and he is saying that there is no guarantees with the op.When I am at work I am normally on my feet approx 6 hrs during the day.

Your employer may offer you a modified work based on the restrictions set by your doctors. If not, you are entitled to a permanent disability settlement based on the ratings of your permanent disability and future medicals. In addition based on the ratings of your permanent disability, you are entitled to vocational disability voucher to retrain in another type of work. So as you see you have various options.
