Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Legal Ethics,Proffesional Responsibility

I was injured in a slip and fall in 2002,in 2003 isuffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. Ive had two attorneys the first told me to take $3,000 and go back to work.He would not try to get bebifits due to me from the date of injury, then no return calls, hanging up on me and then told me he was no longergoing to take cases here and refered me to another attorney. This one is as bad I had knee surgeryn 10 months after my Brain surgery my minisiegus was torn in half. Now I was sent for injections in my hip for Bursitus, the last injection was very painful and my condition worsened, sharp pain down my leg across my back and sometimes the othe leg. This Dr. out of the blue informs me he is no longer treating me.My Attorney didnot have another Dr. so I found my own who now informs me that I have a back injury possible nerve damage. My first Dr. had me on Soma,Vicoden750 for three years,a pain management Dr. informs me that these meds can cause viospasm and kill me, they take me off all pain meds. The AME has had the first Dr. Brought up on Industrial fraud and ins. fraud. My attorney now tells me I owe W.C.14,000 in over payments and I should settle for 25,000 no medical, less there cost. they also dont return calls or just put me on hold.
