Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

if I am about to settle my W.C claim and I become incarcerated before the final settlement has been decided. will that have any bearing on my claim outcome?

If the Insurer realizes you will be in prison so unable to run up any medical treatment expense, the insurer would likely cut the amount for future treatment in half. Why pay to close out treatment rights when the person who could run up the treatment bills can't get any MPN Doctor treatment?
