Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

How much time do I get to go to therapy,do I have to leave and come back to work or can I go home after therapy. Can I take vacation time and therapy time to make my 8hours work day?

There is nothing in the Labor Code about how many minutes or hours one is to use in physical therapy or any other treatment. STRATEGY: CHOOSE a physical therapy company from the insurer's MPN * that will schedule you immediately after your work day -- like 5:45 if you get off at 5:15 -- so you can go home and rest after therapy and not miss work.

Treatment is ON THE WORKER'S PRIVATE TIME. Whether your employer permits you to use partial vacation days is the employer's individual decision, not a matter of the California Labor Code.
