Sadly, the only way to handle a claim on a contingency basis IS to be on the record. With 6 prior attorneys, no effective attorney will want to plunge in, as the fee will be ordered split by the judge 6 or 7 ways. A 20-yr-old claim with 5 visits to the Agreed Medical Examiner will just never be 'easy' for anyone.
