Bench warrant issued..HELP

I just received a letter in the mail from the District Court in a county in Colorado for a Bench warrant for my arrest for failure to appear. I had notified the courts of not receiving paperwork from the other sides attorney and I even called the courts to see if I was on the docket, they said no, now I have this...what do I do???HELP PLEASE!! Do I call the courts monday? do I go in? what do I do???

Without reviewing the case file and knowing what transpired, the best advice is to hire an attorney. If you do not want to do that, then plan to get the case file and learn the rules of procedure and common law so you can file motions to resolve the issues that lead to the bench warrant. Without seeing the file, again, it is impossible to say what happened and how to resolve the matter.

I would strongly recommend that you hire counsel. Good luck.
