Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
What could happen in court?
My 4year old daughter snuck out of the house, and the cops got her. Now I'm being charged with child abuse and criminally negllect. I went looking for her on the streets behind my house. They picked her up down the street from the front of my house. I want to know what could happen in court?

It really depends if you are charged with felony or misdomeaner child abuse. There are lots of bad things that could happen, in both a criminal case as well in civil case and the child abuse registery. You need an attorney who knows of all the possible civil and criminal consequences.
