Interlock Device
I was wondering If I received a 2nd Dui in 3 years(under21), do I need an interlock device even if my second dui was not alcohol related, or is there any appeals or meeting I could have? My second dui was for marijuana and on the dmv website it explains the interlock device being used for second alcohol offense, not drugs. I'm wondering because the dmv sent me a letter stating I will need one for one year?

The law does not distinguish between drugs and alcohol. An interlock will be necessary.
