Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

can a 17 year old move in with someone else with out parent consent? their parents are moving and they want to stay in colorado to finish high school and if they moved it would take longer than normal, the 17 year old has a job and by the time their parent are going to move they will be 18 in 2 months. Is there anything they can do to stay if their parents want them to leave with them?

An 18 year old is no longer under his or her parent's control, but some judges think that ends at 19 since child support goes until then in most situations. It should be something that can be worked out of or in court, but it may not be quick and easy if the parents want to fight it.
