brother and sister rights to one another

I have a 13 year old brother that my fathers new girl friend will not let us see and unfortunately he is agreeing. My little brother does not want to live with my father. He is treated like the ugle step child and is being abused. Me and my brothers are ready and able to let him live with any of us. What can we do

Re: brother and sister rights to one another

Is your mother involved? If you can get her involved in the situation, that may help. She will be in a stronger legal position to obtain parenting time rights with respect to your brother. If the child is being abused, you can also report the abuse to the police. Please note, however, that you absolutely should NOT report false charges of abuse against your father or anyone else. Also, how old are you? In light of the abuse, and depending on your age, you may be in a position to step in as your brother's guardian.
