Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

I was a resident of colorado had a domestic violence sitiation with husband fled state for our safety want to go back and live there will have been gone 3 months because son had to finish school here first.want to get divorce started as soon as I am back there but says have to be resident for 3 months am I still considered resident of colorado or am I considered resident of state I fled to which says you have to wait 6 months to establish recidency in which case wont be here that long.drivers license still colorado, mail still going there and no job

You do NOT have to be a resident of Colorado if your husband is a resident of Colorado. Only one of you must be. Takes a minimum of 90 days after you file to get a divorce.
