Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

After separation wife had a child from someone else.

I have married in 1984, separated in 1985 and divorced in 1993. After separation my wife had a child from someone else. In the divorce papers we stated, that there are no children of this marriage.

Did we provide the correct information when we filled the divorce papers?

Am I responsible for that child legally?

The information in the divorce papers may be incorrect, depending on state law. Some states assume a child is fathered by the husband in a marriage, even when it obviously isn't. Also, if the child is past a certain age, you may not be able to use DNA tests to prove the child is not yours. Result: you may be legally responsible.
