Legal Question in Traffic Law in Colorado

traffic violation

I was given a ticket for speeding in a school zone, although I was pulled over 50ft before the start of the school zone, not to mention that I was clocked much further back than that. I was still in a 35mph limit and that is exactly what I was going. Is this legal?

No. You should contest the ticket. At the hearing, you should present evidence of the fact that you were not in the school zone when you were clocked or pulled over. Take pictures of where you think you were clocked, where you remember being pulled over, and where the start of the school zone is. When you state your case at your traffic hearing, simply present the pictures and explain that you were not in the school zone.
