Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

My parents will stated that they were the Personal Representative for each other. I am listed as the Personal Representative if they are deceased. My father passed 11 years ago. My mother passed in August 2014. Am I the Personal Representative for my father's stock?

If you are the only listed personal representative, you are the representative for the entire estate. Unless the assets are small enough to fall under the small estate, you need to immediately proceed with probate. That is the only way you (and any other beneficiaries) will get any rights regarding any of your mother's property.

Speak with an attorney as soon as possible.
