How can F1 status person can start his company in usa?

Generally speaking, any person, regardless of immigration status, can own stock in an American corporation. So one can start a company and own stock in that company, however one cannot work for the company without the proper immigration status.

As you can see, there could be a path to starting a company and you owning equity in the company, however it needs to be done in conjunction with all DHS laws and regulations.
