alimony term reduced

I have filed for a Modification and i have a hearing scheduled, Pro Se. I have 5 more years of Alimony to pay. Is it possible to have that reduced? Our divorce was decided by trial.

The answer depends on two factors. One, does your decree allow for a modification? Secondly, is there a substantial change in circumstances that warrant a modification? You would have to be meet both criteria to be successful.
