Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My boyfriend is going through a divorce but I have been served a subpoena to provide my financials. We live together but this is not my divorce. Do I have to do this?

If its pursuant to a subpoena, you have a legal obligation to respond. It is potentially relevant to his divorce, as household income and expenses factors into financial issues in the divorce. If you do not wish to comply, you might want to consult with an attorney more specifically and see if it would be feasible to file a Motion for Protective Order or Motion to Quash Subpoena.
