Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

The court appointed a GAL to our minor child. How do I or can I go about getting fee's waved or paid back to me by the plaintiff.

First of all, if the parties do not agree to split the GAL's fees, then the court will look at each of your financial affidavits and apportion the fees accordingly. In some circumstances, depending on how much you each earn, the court can order that the GAL be paid at "state rates" by the state of CT.
