If my child quits school at the age of 16 years old. Am I still liable to pay child support?

The answer is not that simple. You are obligated to pay support until the child reaches the age of majority, passes away or becomes emancipated. To prove that a child is "emancipated" requires more than just showing he/she is no longer in school. You must look to the statutory and common law criteria.
