Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Legal Rights of Parents in Custody Restriction

Hello,

I have a simple problem but I am unsure as to what the solution is. Okay, aproximentally six months ago my mum decided that she wanted me despite my dad have full physical custody (they both have 50% legal). To this day, he has wanted me back, but has not wanted to cause a fuss. I am unhappy at my mum's and wish to return to my dad's, but she will not allow me to. Also now she is telling me that I cannot see him. Is there any legal way that she can limit me (and by extension him) in this manner and also is there a legal way that I can return to my rightful place?

Thank You for Your Time

How old are you? If you're 14 or older, the court will certainly listen to your wishes. In fact, the court will be very upset that she tries to keep you from your father.
