Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut
Regarding H1B extension
I have to apply for extension in Sep-09 after my 3 years H1B visa. I know that H1B is valid for 6 years, so this bill create a problem for people like me. one more thing, our company will not get any money from stimulus package.

Re: Regarding H1B extension
Dear Inquirer:
You may extend your H-1B status if the company is still willing to employ you. An H-1B may also be extended beyond the 6th year as long as the employee is pursuing permanent resident status through an offer of employment.
