Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

Wrongful Termination

I was recently fired from my job because of a bad referance but i was already working there a month before they did the background check. Their policy is to do it before you get hired. Is this legal and if not how do I go about undoing this wrong?

Re: Wrongful Termination

Generally, employment is at will which means that an employer can terminate an employee for any reason as long as it is not an illegal reason and as long as it is not in breach of a contract.
