Re: tree vs shed

Hello,

Your concerns are valid. Since it is your tree that would be damaging the neighbor's shed, you would be responsible for the damage. Your best bet would be to have the tree removed - it will probably cost less than replacing the neighbor's shed and help maintain a friendly relationship with your neighbor.

Whether the town is aware of the shed would have no impact on yours and your neighbors obligations to each other.

Hope that helps!

Diana
