Settling an estate

Who would benefit from an estate that is intestate - what about family outside of Connecticut?

Doesn't matter where they are located, only the degree of consanguity (i.e., how are they related). If there are issue (children, grandchildren), they come first. If none, then parents. If none, then siblings and issue of deceased siblings. If none, then 1st cousins and so on down the line.
