Public drunkenness

I've been charged with public drunkenness is the Distrcit of Columbia. This is my first offense. What penalty may I face?

Being drunk in public is still, I believe, in the

category of D.C. offenses which may be disposed of

by appearing in court and agreeing to forfeit collateral if one has been posted or to pay over a fine of somewhere, probably, between $10 and $30 and in return the charge is dismissed.
