Legal Question in Immigration Law in District of Columbia

question on h1b transfer

hi

i got my h1b approved from f1 to h1, in oct 1st 2007...and never left US since then..i was into consulting so far...

am now offered a fulltime with one of the biggest firms in US...and they are willing to do my h1 transfer..

am planning to go for my h1b stamping in dec 2009..

my concern is ,if i do the h1b transfer now, and if it gets approved, how long does it take for this approval information to get into PIMS systems...just wanted to make sure, my information is updated in PIMS, when i go

for h1b stamping in dec 2009. to avoid any delays..

i also heard, there is a option now days, where the petition/attorney filing the h1b transfers, can also send a copy of the petition documents to the kentucky service center at the time of filing h1 transfer, so that they are updated in PIMS right away...is that true..has anyone tried it...
