Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in El Salvador

Disputing Intestate Succession

My aunt that I have been living with, recently died in a car accident without a will. Her parents kicked her out at an early age (signed for her to quit school at 16) and admittedly have not had any contact with her in the last 25 years. They are now trying to get her few belongings. Can Florida Intestate Succession be disputed? Although they are her 'next of kin', I am the only family she has seen in the last 20 years and would not like them to receive her estate.

Re: Disputing Intestate Succession

Sorry. Unless she had a valid will, you are out of luck.
