Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

my Employer is refusing to pay me for work done

The corporation that owns the staffing agency I work for claims to have paid me a week by direct deposit. My account history shows no deposits were made on that day,and no withdrawals. My payroll history also shows that I recieved 0 dollars in net pay on that day. They are now refusing to pay me for the work I have done this past week and have put a freeze on my payroll. What can I do?

Re: my Employer is refusing to pay me for work done

This may be a Florida wage and hour violation. If it is, you may be able to file suit against the employer. Under certain circumstances you may also be able to get attorney's fees for an attorney. If you need more info you may contact my office.
