Legal Question in Administrative Law in Florida

no company vehicles

I was turned in by a neighbor to code enforcement for having a company vehicle in my driveway. LDC told me I was breaking home occupation code. They informed me that if a company vehicle is parked in a residential area, they are to assume we are conducting business. Businesses physical address is totally different than mine. There are co. vehicles everywhere. I consider this a perk. Am I being harassed?

Re: no company vehicles

Whether or not you can have a company vehicle in

your residential neighborhood depends on the wording

of the ordinance. I used to serve on the Code Enforcement

Board for Hillsborough County and we did enforce

such an ordinance. It did not matter whether you

were being singled out and other people were also

violating the ordinance.
