Legal Question in Administrative Law in Florida

Living wills & Power of Attorney

My parents are leaving the country on 7/19/2001 for 6 months. Their house is on market for sale. Will Power of Attorney allow my oldest sister to act & sign all legal contract on my parents' behalf? And what is the correct legal procedure/form for my parents & sister to file before they leave the State.

Please also instruct us on which legal forms to make my oldest sister have the ability to make all finance & health decision in case my parents aren't capable of making their own decision.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Cecilia

Re: Living wills & Power of Attorney

You need a durable power of attorney. Have an attorney draft it and run it by the title company closing the property and your bank so that you have smooth sailing and no problems.
