It is not a crime in the state of FL for a person under the age of 24 to have a consentual sexual relationship with a person 16 years of age or older. This would include other types of touching too as the "lewd and lascivious" statute only applies to activity with minors under 16.

I don't know how you can get her dad to like you, but it is worth a try. He does not have control over her after she turns 18, although he can evict her after she turns 18 as well.

Good luck.
