Is it permissable paint several famous people in a group setting doing an activity such as eating, golfing, running, etc. and offer the finished product for sale or to be used in an ad? The group would encompass at least 6 to 80 people and would not point out any one individual. If the likenesses of these individuals can be used, it is permissable to name them? If this painting shows the likenesses of several famous people and they are not named, what is the law?
