Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

fishing lure design

i ran into a company that sells lures that are JUST like the ones a name brand company makes. My question is, is it legal to copy, sell, and or own these lures? They do not sell them under the name brand, they have another name, but they look just like them.

Probably not. Most items that are sold commercially are protected under the law from the unlawful copying or duplicating with similar products. Chances are that sooner or later they will get caught and the penalties can be severe.
