Copyright Infringement - Web Host
I am a web hosting reseller and web developer. I currently have a client who distributed a product on behalf of a manufacutrer. These comapnies have broken ties, and the distributor is still showing the manufacturers images on his site. The manufacturer has contacted me citing copyright infringement on my part, as the web host. Am I obligated to remove their images, and at what point should I so so? After a cease and desist letter?

If you have received a D.M.C.A. takedown notice there are strict guidelines and requirements for taking down such content.
