Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Florida

Police Records

If you are questioned by police in an incident, but were only questioned as a witness, not a suspect, why would that show up on a background ckeck? Is that allowed? And if so, does it stay on there forever?

Mere questioning should not show up in a simple background check. All bets are off if it's an in-depth background check for a high level of security clearance.
