Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Can a boat dealer force me to buy a boat that I have not signed any paper work for ? I did transefer the money to his bank ,this was done sight unseen. After I order them to inspect the boat for any defects and agreed to poay for that inspection. When I looked at the boat at the delivery point I didnt accept the boat because of obvious defects. The dealer has the boat now and is trying to force me to buy it and is saying he will now charge me storage fees. Hes saying that my bank in Texas transferred the money and agreed to take delivery of the boat AS IS for me which they DID not they did not sign any paper work regarding this boat.

You need to have an attorney review whatever paperwork you have regarding this transaction. The fact that you paid money for a boat "sight unseen" indicates that you may have agreed to some liability for the seller's expense to transport the boat here for your inspection. But, upon inspection of the boat, and rejection due to the condition, it is unlikely that the dealer can force you to accept and pay for this boat. If you are also a dealer in boats, a different set of rules apply than if you are simply a consumer, ordering a boat for your own use.
