Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

my son subscibed to an x-rated website

my 17 year old son ran up a 136.00 charge on his debit card from an x-rated website. After I realized he had subscribed, I immediately requested that his membership be canceled and yet 2 days later I see that he has a charge on his account. Am I entitled to a refund since the charge was made after my request. I have yet to hear from the company about canceling after 3 e-mails. And how do I go about getting a reply from the company.

contact the credit card company. better yet, make your son pay for it or get it fixed himself. It might be a good lesson.

I like Mr. Wagner's response. But another option is to clarify to the company that your son is a minor and not competent to contract for anything other than necessities, and a court just might not think porn in a necessity. But if you are a guarantor on your son's card, they'll say maybe you used the card to get porn and you might as well go back to Mr. Wagner's suggestion.
