Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

In 2007 my wife was in a car accident during her third surgey in December of that year a judgment was put against her for $1892.00. Neither of us knew about this judgment, and my wife has now passed away. If my wife did know she was in no condition to understand it, and I still don't know what it was for. I found this judgement just recently, and was very suprised. This company has a bad rep for putting factious judgments against people as I found out on web at Bud Hibbs.com. I am afriad to contact these people due to their bad rep. My questions are: Am I responsible for this judgement or any part of it, and what can I do to stop them from hurting other people? I am retired so I don't have a lot of money, but I would like to do something what they do is wrong,

So long as you are not named in the judgment then you will not be responsible for repayment. I certainly never recommend to any client to invite the time and costs of ligitation unless absolutely necessary. In your case there's little that would change even if you found a way to vacate that judgment. You would gain only a moral victory, and it may cost you a great deal of time, effort and money to obtain.
