Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

When a car is repossessed in Kentucky and the title and loan are from Florida.... which state laws must be followed? Re-instatement clause in contract and in Kentucky law as well. Am actually behind 2 payments, had been catching up with creditor by making extra payment per month since may. Creditor says it doesn't matter because car is out of state and says re-instatement not possible because of this. Do I have a leg to stand on? Also... Co-signer was never contacted by creditor.

If you are behind, you are behind. There's no right to reinstatement of a loan; its purely within the creditor's discretion. Also, there's no requirement that the creditor contact the co-signer. Signers and co-signers are equal - each is responsible for 100% of the loan.
