Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My friends mother died june 2014. When she died she left everything she owned to her son, but the mobile home they were living in was still being mortgaged by his mother. The property the mobile home is located is fully paid off and was willed to the son. The bank that holds the note for the mobile home has now sent my friend an Order to show cause with a request for a issuance of a writ of replevin. He has to respond in less then 7 days and has not found an attorney he can afford. I was hoping you could guide me in creating a simple response to keep the judgment from being defaulted. Thank you

contact the attorney and ask what they can do to keep from taking the trailer. They really don't want the trailer so they will deal with you. He will have to make payments to keep it but he will have to speak to the lawyers representing the mortgage company. If the company is local, go there and speak to the manager in charge and see if he can help you.
