Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My husband had a brain anuerysm 8 months ago. We had been living on my social security during this time. He had his vehicle repossessed. He was served to submit an explanation to he court and the vehicle creditor. I assume the next step is they will take him to court. My question he just started getting social security disability this month. Can the creditor freeze his bank account when it has only his and my social security going into it. I read on the Social security website they can't garnish his social security but I wonder if they can freeze our bank account. And if we should consider bankrupatcy.

I assume a judgment has been entered against him. Many assets are exempt from garnishment in Florida including pensions and SS. You will have to raise your objections to the court.
