Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I owe a debt to western financial and have been unable to pay I called and offered a payment arrangement to the collection company Nationwide of $40.00 a month they are not allowed to accept because it's doesn't meet the minimum payment they will accept on the account. I was told they hired a locator service to contact me because I have a PO box, she has my phone and mailing address and yet she (Paige Harris - locator)_ is constantly calling my employer and has told 5 different co-worker about the situation and calls at least 7 - 8 times a day harrassing several co-workers. I spoke to her yesterday and explained the collection company would not accept the terms that are feasible to me and if she needed to serve me with paperwork to appear I will set an appointment to meet her. She hung up in my face and has continued to harrass my employer. I called the collection company as well and again repeated the terms I am willing to repay and told them I couldn't do more and that if they could give me the information for the locator I will appear but she need to stop harrasing my employer and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. Is there anything legally that can stop them from annoying my job and advertising my personal debt

This is clearly a violation of law if she is telling people you work for that she is calling regarding a debt. See my web site re the law. www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com

Follow Mr. Marino's web site - he is right on point. This type of harrassment is clearly a violation of fair credit act.
