Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

co signed for a car for my daughter, she had arranged late payments and skipped payments to be added to the end of the loan. The original contract was modified by this and I don't feel obligated to answer any collections. Do I have any legal backing?

If you are on the note, I would be concerned. You are responsible as a co-signer, and your credit can be affected as well as you having a judgment. against you. If you are not on the amended /modified note, then OK maybe, but I suggest you have a lawyer look at the paperwork.
